Apple Wheat Porridge: SuperChef Mommas

Mum Nehali Khoche’s delicious and healthy breakfast recipe:

  • Cook the apple till it’s soft
  • Mash and keep the pulp aside
  • Roast 2 tbsps wheat flour in a pan on low flame for about a minute
  • Switch off the heat once the aromas start hitting
  • Add some water, home made ghee (or market ghee) and jaggery
  • Let it cook for about 2-3 minutes more
  • The mixture should become kind of soupy in consistency
  • Add some dry-fruits powder, cardamom powder (elaichi)
  • Add the apple pulp to the mixture
  • Mix it all well
  • If your baby is a little older and can chew properly, you can also add apple pieces (diced or grated)
