Baby Corn Pakodas: Monsoon Recipes For Kids

Ingredients:

  • 250gms baby corn
  • oil for deep frying
  • 3tbsp corn flour
  • 3tbsp besan
  • salt
  • 1tsp turmeric powder
  • 1tsp coriander powder
  • 50ml chilled soda

For the masala paste:

  • 2tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • salt
  • 1/2tsp turmeric powder
  • 1tsp coriander powder
  • 1tsp cumin powder
  • 1tbsp refuned oil

How to make:

  • Boil some water with salt in a pan
  • Add baby corn and blanch for about 2-3 minutes
  • Switch off heat and strain the water
  • Keep the baby corn in cold water for some time or run under cold water

For the batter: Mix all ingredients together and store in fridge for about 15 minutes

  • For the masala: Mix all ingredients together and apply the paste on the blanched baby corn. Keep this in the fridge for about 15 minutes.

Cook:

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Dip the baby corn in the masala batter and deep fry
  • Serve with ketchup
